Downloading the App and Logging in

    Overview & Navigation The app will automatically show any surveys that have been assigned to you. You will need to be connected to the internet to receive surveys. The My Sites screen shows the sites that you have been allocated a survey, tap a site to open. If there are no sites listed, you do not have any surveys assigned to you. General Survey Navigation

  • Downloading surveys
    Downloading Surveys Surveys automatically download onto the mobile app once they are assigned to a surveyor. Surveyors can check the download status of their surveys in the mobile app. Receiving a survey on the mobile app A survey will only appear in the mobile app when it has been issued to that specific surveyor in the web application (see guidance here). Floorplan Mode

    Floor plan mode Floorplan Mode can be used to help navigate the building and remind you which rooms have been completed. This is particularly helpful in large and complex cellular buildings. Deleting, Duplicating and Moving an Asset

    Delete an asset Assets can be deleted individually or in bulk. Rooms can also be deleted, which will deleted the assets contained within that room. Within a room, hold down on an asset. Adding and Editing a Room

    Adding a Room To add a room to a survey, tap the ‘Add Room’ button on the main survey screen. Add a room image (optional) by tapping the camera icon at the top right. Up to 5 images can be taken per room. Type in the room name. Type in the floor name, if the floor already exists it will appear for selection.     Add floors Floors can be added by creating new rooms assigned to a new floor. Floors can be selected in the dropdown menu in the main survey screen. If the required floor doesn’t exist, at least one new room will need to be added. Tap the ‘Add Room’ button on the main survey screen. Type in the room name. Marking a Room as 'No Access'

    Mark a room as ‘No Access’ Rooms can be marked as ‘No Access’ to indicate that it was not possible to gain entry. This provides a clear distinction between rooms with no assets, and rooms not accessed. In the main survey screen, hold down on the relevant room with your finger. Completing a Survey & Syncing Data with the Cloud

    Completing a survey To complete a survey, all the rooms must be marked as complete (or No Access). This is to ensure that all areas have been surveyed before the survey is submitted. Working Offline

    Working offline Asseticom is designed for online and off-line working. When off-line the data is stored on the mobile device, and synced with the cloud as soon as an internet connection is restored. You will need to be connected to the internet to receive new surveys, to sync data with the cloud, and to contact live support. Image Review, Support and Accessibility
