Form field guidance notes

Enter a short guidance note for form fields to provide additional information to surveyors in the field. This can help drive consistency, and ensure surveyors understand the purpose and application of each data field in the survey.

1. Set up a new survey, continue to stage 3 (form fields).
2. Create or edit a form field.
3. Enter guidance text into the 'Notes' box. (There is a 200 character limit)

• Note: The note for each field will appear in the mobile app when the surveyor taps the info icon for the relevant field.
• Tip: This feature can be used to explain what each condition grade relates to (e.g. A = As new, B = Satisfactory with no visible defects, etc), or it could be used to explain what a field should be used for (e.g. Legacy Barcode = barcode labels which are from a previous FM provider).
