# Project Portal - Sites and Buildings


# Sites & Buildings

Sites and Buildings need to be added prior to setting up surveys, the surveys are then linked to the relevant site and building. Sites are set up first, then one or more buildings can be added to a site.

### Add Sites & Buildings

1. Navigate to the **Add Sites & Buildings** section on the lefthand side of the Project Portal

2. Add the Site name and address
3. Click **Save Site Details**

5. You will be asked to add at least one building
6. Add the building name and address (tick the checkbox if the building name is the same as the Site address)

3. Click **Save Building Details**
4. Add more buildings by clicking **Add Building**

### Delete a Site or Building

Deleting a Site or Building is simple, but cannot be undone. Please consider whether deleting is the most suitable option before doing so.

|| Note: If a Site or Building has surveys assigned to it, you will not be able to delete the building. You can edit Sites or Buildings with surveys assigned to them.

1. Navigate to the View Sites & Buildings section on the lefthand side of the Project Portal and click 'View;.
2. Click the three dot icon next to the relevant Site name
3. You will be asked to confirm if you want to delete the Site, select yes.
