# Surveyor Room Status

Please see the following information on room statues particularly concerning multi-surveyor surveys and re-issuing surveys.

When re-issuing a survey and changing surveyor assignment, aggregate room statuses are recalculated based upon the remaining assigned surveyors who have interacted with that room. If after re-issuing a survey all of those surveyors have been unassigned, then the room status will remain as it was before the re-issue took place.

When more than one surveyor is assigned to a room, their individual statuses are combined to determine the room’s overall status.

Statuses recorded by surveyors who are no longer assigned are ignored. **No access** takes priority, followed by **In progress**. A room is recorded as **Completed** when all recorded statuses from its assigned surveyors are complete.

The status displayed in room lists ignores **Not started** entries when another surveyor has already worked on the room. This prevents an inactive surveyor from hiding completed work.

During re-issue, if every surveyor with a recorded room status is removed, the room keeps its existing overall status and the old individual statuses are cleared. 
Selecting **Reset room statuses** instead sets every room to **Not started**."
