# App Best Practice - Syncing App Data

To keep the mobile application running smoothly we recommend that that you sync the survey data regularly. We do not recommend working offline for long periods of time. 
If possible every hour or so, making sure you sync your data on daily basis at a minimum. 
Once you are connected to the internet the Asseticom application will automatically start to upload you survey data.

|| Note: It is always a good idea to sync your surveys before updating the app.

|| Note: If you have lots of data it will take a little time for that data to sync and be visible in the portal.
